About the Author
Orhan Pamuk was born in Istanbul, Turkey on the 7th of June, 1952. He is a recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature. He has received a number of honorary doctorates from universities around the world. His most notable works are The White Castle, The Black Book, The New Life, and My Name is Red, Snow, to name a few.
